Meeting Jesus in the Gospel of Everyday
Directed by Richard Bollman, SJ
We invite you to a leisurely weekend, Thursday through Sunday, a retreat that can unfold without hurry, getting closer to what you want for your life. It could be you are looking for ways of learning to pray again, truly using the quiet, and finding the connection to God that is yours.
This is the conviction of St. Ignatius when he set out the Spiritual Exercises, that a person can move in freedom where Jesus most invites, and where we are most drawn to follow.
There will be a more open schedule, six conferences through the four days to guide your time, along with ample opportunity for consultation with Richard and the Jesuit Spiritual Center staff on hand. You will enjoy an atmosphere of silence, so loved at our retreats, and also some optional time for faith sharing, listening to others.
There will be Mass each day, and opportunity for the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Let the Lord Jesus have time to catch up with you. He is certainly eager and willing to do this. Our goal, as Ignatius says, is an “interior knowledge of the Lord… that I may more love
The retreat will begin Thursday evening with a social at 5:30 p.m. and will end with a closing Mass at 11:00 a.m. before Sunday’s lunch at 12:00 p.m.
