Evenings of Prayer for Women
Led by Srs. Donna Steffen and Mary Ann Humbert from the Sisters of Charity, each evening will be a prayerful time rooted in Scripture. The evenings will include time for personal reflection and journaling, small group sharing, music and communal prayer.
Noticing God’s Presence in Everyday Life
September 18, 2023
Psalm 23 invites us to notice the goodness in the way God shelters, nourishes, communicates, and leads us. Together we will deepen our awareness of God’s active presence in our lives.
Leaning into God’s Invitation of “Letting Go”
October 16, 2023
Reflecting on Ruth 1:16, we hear how Ruth lets go of her present life to support that of her mother-in-law, Naomi. As we work through our own process of “letting go” we will contemplate and pray through the various challenges it brings us and ask for God’s guidance.
Noticing God’s Grace through both Joyful and Challenging Experiences
November 13, 2023
Thessalonians 5:18 encourages us to rejoice in all of God’s gifts. As we note the easy and obvious gifts, we will discern some of our more challenging, yet grace filled gifts, and explore how we are called to live and share these with gratitude in our hearts.
Listening to God During this Advent Season
December 11, 2023
In Luke 2:26, Mary was alone in silence when Gabriel appeared to her with a message. We too are invited to embrace the silence to hear God speak to us in our hearts and minds.
