God Loved Us First...Drawing from us Gratitude, Hope, Trust, Love, and Service

October 13 - 15, 2023

- Men & Women's Retreat

Life is a continual invitation to respond to God’s love for us. As humans, sometimes broken and poor in spirit, we are each called to conversion of heart. Conversion draws out a response of love and service. Drawing from the conversion cycle language of John Veltri, SJ, we will look at our individual lives and how we have been “loved, broken, forgiven, and missioned.”

Retreat Director:

Fr. Harry Geib, SJ

Fr. Harry Geib, SJ, originally from Philadelphia, entered the Society of Jesus in 1981 and was ordained in 1992. He studied at St. Joseph’s University and pursued graduate studies in gerontology at Duke University and earned a MSW at Gallaudet University.  He worked with the Jesuit Refugee Service in Thailand, Malaysia, and Uganda serving in a variety of roles for the refugees. After returning to the United States, he worked as director of a health care facility, worked in campus ministry at the University of West Virginia, and served as superior of the Colombiere Jesuit Community in Baltimore. In January 2023, Fr. Harry moved to the St. Aloysius Gonzaga Jesuit Community in Washington DC to help the Jesuit community as superior of the house.
