- Men's Retreat
Following through the graces of the Spiritual Exercises, creative practices will be incorporated in this retreat to heighten the experiences of our personal prayer. Deep breathing exercises, a focus upon our senses, poetry selections, and praying for graces will help us accompany Jesus on His journey back to His Father. On the Cross, the death of Jesus reveals to us that God the Father understands human suffering and wants to walk with us. We will strengthen our friendship with Christ as we share with Him those lights and shadows that emerge from daily life.
Retreat Director:
Fr. John Predmore
Fr. John Predmore, SJ is from the East Coast and provides spiritual ministries at Boston College High School and in the Boston area. He also teaches at the Creighton University Master’s Program in Spiritual Direction, and moderates online classes in Scripture, evolution, Church history, and contemporary Church issues. He facilitates online classes on “The Art of Compassionate Communications” and leads retreats using creative practices, art, and poetry. He has an art studio in Boston’s SoWa Arts District and is an oil and watercolor painter, photographer, and blogger.
