Katy Stalings Prestel

Retreat Facilitator

Katy Stallings Prestel has been involved in retreat ministry for over 25 years. With a psychology degree from Indiana University, she began her ministry as a youth ministry coordinator. In 2008, she completed her certification in spiritual direction and is currently a Manager of Volunteer Services for a hospital in Indianapolis, IN. She has worked with the Jesuit Spiritual Center for 12 years as a spiritual director and co-director for the Women’s Journey retreats including: Ribbons of Blessings, Yellow Brick Road, By the Seashore, and Everyday Saints. She’s recently married and in her free time, enjoys cycling, traveling, cooking, boating, photography, and most importantly being an active presence in the lives of her nieces and nephews.

Christy Wesselman

Retreat Facilitator

Christy Wesselman earned a religious education degree from Marian University, a pastoral ministries degree from the University of Dayton, and a law degree from the University of Dayton. In 2015, she retired from her law practice advocating for abused and neglected children in the child welfare system. In 2018, Christy completed her certification in spiritual direction and founded Listening Heart, LLC. She is a trained Veriditas labyrinth facilitator, SoulCollage® facilitator and a spiritual director. She has worked with the Jesuit Spiritual Center on retreats as a spiritual director for the past two years. She recently became a spiritual care assistant at the Lindner Center of Hope in Mason, Ohio. Christy lives on a 40-acre farm with her husband Charlie. She enjoys walks in the woods, photography, creative spiritual practices, and music.
