Fr. Schneider was born and raised outside of Green Bay, WI and is the second eldest of six boys. He is a 1982 graduate of Creighton University. He was ordained a priest in the Society of Jesus at Gesu in Milwaukee in 1994. Fr. Kevin is a member of the Jesuit Community at Creighton Preparatory High School and is the director of spiritual programs for the adult community at Creighton Preparatory School. He has taught theology and is chaplain for many athletic teams.

Fr. Schneider offers retreats, days of recollection for schools and parish missions and retreats throughout the Midwest Province. He has found that offering retreats over the past few years has filled him with joy and hope.
