Go With Me: Christ Along the Way

January 10-12, 2020

Going with Christ along the way, opens our everyday lives up more to God’s love and grace, while drawing us towards others with mercy and courage. Through the Spiritual Exercises and contemplative prayer, the retreat seeks to elicit in us a deeper response to going with Christ along the way, discerning God’s activity in Christ as both abundant in all things and particular to each one of us.

The Value of Silence

I make a lot of choices throughout a day about what I listen to. I switch between different radio stations in the car. If I don't want to hear people around me I pop my headphones in my ears. And it is important to choose to have some silence in life so that there is space to hear God. God who often speaks in a still small voice or an inspiration. Silence allows us to hear God as he passes by.
