Behold, I Make All Things New

Rooted in Scripture and Ignatian Spirituality, join us for an uplifting weekend of joy, healing and hope centered on Christ and His promise, “Behold, I make all things new.” – Rev 21:5. This weekend retreat, for individuals, couples and young adults, will be a time of prayer, community and fellowship.

Stephen and Angie Poat will provide a series of presentations designed to assist you with your prayer, reflection and spiritual journey. This retreat will include opportunities for Mass, Reconciliation, Adoration, Rosary, Healing Prayer, Praise and Worship, Journaling and Silence.

Retreat Directors

Angie is a high school Religion teacher and Stephen is the Executive Director of the Jesuit Spiritual Center. They have four children and their family motto is, “We may not have it all together, but together we have it all.” Having the privilege of 32 years of marriage and serving the LORD in full time youth, retreat, leadership, music, and education ministries, they are delighted to present this retreat together as an offering of gratitude to the LORD for you, their friends, family, colleagues and future friends.

Most frequent questions and answers

Retreats begin with social at 5:45pm followed by dinner at 6pm on the first day and conclude after lunch on the final day (typically 6pm Friday to 1pm Sunday)

We offer a variety of retreats that meet individual needs. Depending upon the retreat you select, it may include instructional presentations, designated time for silence, prayer, and meditation, and sacramental opportunities and communal prayer.

  • Personal Spiritual resources (ie. Bible, journal, or reflective book)
  • Alarm clock
  • Toiletries (ie. toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, razor, shaving cream, brush or comb)
  • Appropriate clothes for your walk to and from the bathroom and shower room
  • Comfortable informal clothing(we recommend clothes that can be layered, especially during the cool months)
  • Comfortable shoes for walking our grounds
  • Gym shoes for our exercise room

The bedrooms provide a sink,  writing table and chair, small closet, and  Bible. There are shared bathrooms and shower rooms.  If you have a special need, please let us know when you register and we will make every effort to accommodate you.

Meals at Jesuit Spiritual Center are served in our common dining rooms. Our kitchen staff takes great pride in providing nutritious meals.
