Living the Paschal Mystery:
Dying and Rising with Christ
September 23 - 25, 2022
Xavier University English literature professor Fr. Thomas Savage used to say: “Life is transitory.” With every passing day, we realize more vividly that “here we have no lasting city, but we seek the one that is to come” – Hebrews 13:14. We who have been baptized into the death of Jesus confidently await what God holds in store for those who love Him.
This retreat is an opportunity to reflect on our personal experiences of dying and death in view of our hope in God “who will wipe every tear from [our] eyes, and there shall be no more death or mourning.” – Revelation 21:4
