Thank you for your interest in the Ignite Internship! We know that there are many paths and opportunities that God has placed before you. Our journey of discernment together begins with this application.
The application process (which typically takes about 2-3 weeks) is outlined below:
Application Timeline
Submission
Once your application is submitted, a member of our team will contact you within 2-3 business days to schedule an interview (typically held within 1-2 weeks of your initial application).
Interview
This is our time to pray together and get to know each other. We will also invite you to ask questions of us - anything that would be helpful as you continue your discernment. Interviews are conducted in person (if available) or by video (Skype, Hangouts, etc).
Review
Following your interview, our team will conduct a final review of your application materials and notes from our interview. This process normally takes 1-2 weeks.
Decision
We will contact you directly to inform you of our final decision. If accepted, you will receive additional information to assist your preparation for entering the community.

An Invitation to Prayer
Beyond the practical ministry skills and professional development offered during this internship, a significant component of our time together is formation in the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, with a focus on discernment, silence, and the Examen. Our hope is that your time spent with us will contribute to your own spiritual growth and development.
In light of this, we would encourage you to spend some time in prayer throughout the application process.
We will be doing the same – for and with you!
