Praying with Ignatius of Loyola - Back by popular demand, the Jesuit Spiritual Center is hosting Jesuit Father John Ferone in a 4-part series entitled Praying with Ignatius of Loyola. Each evening will begin with prayer followed by some aspect of Ignatian spirituality, and will include private reflection followed by small group discussion. Festival of Faith - The Jesuit Spiritual Center is hosting its first-ever outdoor Festival of Faith August 4-6, featuring nationally known preachers and popular area choirs. Recovery Retreat - Fr. Jerry O'Brien, SJ will lead a Recovery Retreat for women July 25-27. The retreat is for women recovering from alcohol and chemical addiction who are involved in a 12-Step recovery process. Fr. Personally Directed Retreats - The Jesuit Spiritual Center is now accepting reservations for its summer Personally Directed Retreats June 20-27, July 11-18, and July 25 - Aug. 1. These individualized and silent retreats offer participants a quiet time spent in the tradition of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius. Each day includes Mass and a 45-minute meeting with a carefully selected spiritual director, as well as solitary activities including prayer, journaling, walking the grounds, reading, art and music. iDive, iPlunge - This summer, the Jesuit Spiritual Center is sponsoring service learning retreats for teens, including a 2-day iDive June 11-12 and a 6-day iPlunge July 20-25. The retreats will combine volunteer service in the Greater Cincinnati area with Ignatian study and prayer, and will offer 13- through 18-year-olds an opportunity to put faith into action. Retreatants will be housed at the Jesuit Spiritual Center and will spend their days alternating between work projects and service learning experiences at such helping organizations as Tender Mercies, Mary Magdalene House and the Free Store Food Bank.
